  1. Lovely egg curry post, Sra!! Eggs are such a big favorite of mine -- I must try your recipe soon. Loved the thai'd white mushroom below, as well -- I rec'd some of that in one of the arusuvai friendship pkgs, and have been looking for something different to do with it -- your 'soup' might be just the ticket! :)

  2. That was a nice read. 10-15 minutes is not bad at all, and the curry looks scrumptious.

  7. Couldn't be anything but delicious. Though eggs are are in our home (except in bakes), we do enjoy the occasional egg curry.

  9. sra..i have always wondered..why do non-vegetarians feel bad when meat or eggs are not made for company? i mean..it is something i obviously do not get..i remem my best friend's mom - they were Reddy's..would feel so bad when she was unable to make any non-veg for me..she felt that the food she was making for me was not that great...tho i would go ga-ga over her pappu adn chutney's...

  12. Hi all, thank you for your comments.
Rajitha, I think it has to do with spending on your guests - meat has always been more expensive than vegetables, and hence, festive and special. And more substantial too. If you visit homes on days of the week non-veg is traditionally not eaten, like a Saturday, you can't expect any meat, but you would probably get an apology/explanation for it. :)
